When ‘giving up’ is actually ‘clearing out’

We’ve been taught from a young age that “giving up” is synonymous with failure. “Winners never quit,” they say. But what if you’re pouring all your energy into fixing something that no longer serves you? What if you’re so busy repairing the old that you have no strength left to create the future?

Recently, I reached that point with lifebytoots.com. After days of struggling with 503 errors and technical glitches, I had an epiphany: I wasn’t building anymore; I was struggling to fix what wasnt meant to.

The Sign of the Ones

The realisation hit me when I looked at the calender: 11-1-2026

As I stared at those numbers, everything clicked. For me 11 ialways marked turning points, a quiet signal that it’s time to choose differently

Then there is the 111 energy, the ultimate sequence for manifestation. It’s the universe’s way of saying: “Pay attention to your thoughts, because they are becoming your reality.”

To top it off, 2026 is a ‘1-Year’ (2+0+2+6=10, 1+0=1), representing the absolute beginning of a new nine-year cycle. Seeing all those ‘ones’ aligned was my wake-up call.

The universe wasn’t telling me to fix the old site; it was telling me to manifest a new one.

Persistence vs. Holding On

There is a thin line between perseverance and stubbornness. You persist when the goal still inspires you, even if the road is bumpy. You are merely holding on when you only continue because of the time and effort you’ve already sunk into it.

My website had hit a sidetrack. The more I tried to patch it up, the more I realized the foundation was no longer aligned with where I am going. It wasn’t a technical problem; it was an energetic one. By taking down the site, I wasn’t giving up. I was clearing out..

Embracing the ‘1-Energy

Numerologically, 2026 is a ‘1-Year’. A year for pioneers, fresh seeds, and clean slates. You cannot plant new seeds if the soil is still cluttered with the roots of a project that no longer blooms.

Deleting the old site felt like a liberation. My “out of the box” solution wasn’t a smarter plugin or a better code; it was the courage to say: “This no longer serves me.”.

Are you on a sidetrack?

Ask yourself about your current struggle:

  • Does is only drain energy or does it eventually provide it
  • Are you holding on out of fear of loss or love for the result
  • If you started with a clean slate today, would you build it exactly this way again?

If the answer to the last question is ‘no,’ it’s time for a Great Reset.

Lifebyt∞ts 2.0 is officially here not because the bugs were fixed, but because the baggage is gone.

Notice what you’re holding onto out of habit. Sit with that question and let the answer come, not from effort, but from honesty.
